Maybell Romero, Associate Professor of Law, Tulane University
Maybell Romero is a Felder Fayard Associate Professor of Law at Tulane Law School. Much of her research focuses on rural criminal legal systems, informed by her nearly 10 years of law practice as a prosecutor, defense attorney, and general practitioner in a small community in northern Utah. Professor Romero teaches Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Criminal Justice System Ethics. Her scholarship has appeared in or is forthcoming in The Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology, Maine Law Review, University of Miami Law Review, University of Richmond Law Review, University of Chicago Law Review Online, and Washington University Law Review.
