Reese Frederickson is the county attorney in Pine County, Minnesota.  He serves as the county’s chief legal counsel and criminal prosecutor.  He has founded and led many successful justice initiatives.  In 2016, Reese was named “Attorney of the Year” by Minnesota Lawyer and “Outstanding Prosecutor of the Year” by Mothers Against Drunk Driving.  Reese is an honors graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth; has a M.B.A. from the University of New Mexico where he was named the Outstanding Graduate; and has a J.D. from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude and was an editor of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review.  In 2017, Reese was selected as a Policy Fellow at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs.  He has also served on active duty with the U.S. Air Force as a captain.
